High school students need to get their isht together when it comes to college

So every year, my colleagues (so profesh over here!) and I get together for what may be my favorite creative project of all time: making fun of high school applicants.

Here's the formula for success: every application season, I send near-harassing emails to my coworkers, asking them to photo copy, cut and paste, email, whatever to keep track of application mistakes (misspellings, improper grammar, funny stuff, whatever), then send them to me. I keep them all in a folder until April, at which point I pick the best ones, divvy them up amongst coworkers, and then we read them out loud in front of a camera. Think Masterpiece Theater.

And we change all the names, so it's not stepping on anyone's toes or rights or anything.

We're filming big number five today, so I thought I'd share the last few glorious years of fun. The first one is still being formatted, which is probably for the best, because 2006 wasn't my best year, as far as hair is concerned, but here are 2007, 08, and 09. My favorite part has been watching how all of our hair has changed. Seriously. Please don't judge my roots in 2007. Unfortunate!

ALMOST more unfortunate (unMOREtunate??) are the thumbnails Vimeo generically assigned to each video. Just furthers my case that I'm less photogenic than your dead hamster. I mentally lose it when I'm alone on camera.

I had to add a password to this thing, since I got REAL nervous that it was being spread to sketchy people via friends of friends on Facebook, but I trust you people not to get me arrested. The password is pslam.
