Spam email update--now I know they're trustworthy!

Ok ok, so basically, Mr. Alex/Alx didn't love my last email that included a "photo of my brother."  But after we mutually decided to give each other one more chance, I brought a couple more people into the mix.  Meet "attorney" Eddie Law (aptly named) and "reference" Alice Joyce, who often just goes by Joyce below.  T

The thought of the three old, fat guys running this scam writing as Mrs Alice/Mrs Joyce just warms my heart.

If you don't have the heart to read through the what-promises-to-be-10-pages-of-ridiculousness, let me give you the highlights:

1.  The scam ring learned all about what a reference is this week
2.  They know there's a difference between "word" and "world"...but they think it's the complete opposite.
3.  Alex/Alx's passport is Shan-quality work with MS Paint.  P.S. I use Paint at about the 2nd grade level.

I don’t know how you could think that I was not serious…I wired almost $2000 to a trusted family member who took a full day off of work to meet up with your contact to share the money.  He waited all day to make this transaction.  After all, as my brother, he is also a blood relative of our deceased Uncle, and would receive part of his estate.  How could your contact not want to receive money in hand?  It’s even easier than going to receive a wire transfer. 

But even if I wanted to wire money to your contact,  I already told you three times now, the information provided is not enough to wire money in the first place.  Western Union requires a name, country, address and phone number.  You did not provide that, and that made me very concerned that you are being dishonest.

As I clearly stated in the email, I sent you a picture of my brother.  Just because I can’t open attachments doesn’t mean I can’t send attachments.  That’s a basic computer rule.

The only reason I can think that your contact would not want to receive my money is that he is not really in Nigeria.  Is this true?  If so, why would he lie to both of us?  This does not honor my decreased Uncle Williams at all.

Let I forget. The phone number they requested is optional beside there are lot of information that is option the most important information they need is what I gave you. 

That is why you should go send it in any bank or western union outlet, they will give you a form to fill in the information I gave you, you will see your self that where they wrote phone number is optional and if they existed here is the attorney number he gave me: +2348086001692

If you are having doubt sending the money to him in Africa, may be I will look for another attorney here that will help us obtain the documents but they will ask me to pay advance for the fees first which I do not know how much they will charge. Then they will still ask us to pay another money for the documents and we will not have choice than to pay it. 

If you suggest I should look for another attorney here I will, and I will even ask him to deal with you directly so that you will not see me as who is telling lies.

Here’s what I don’t think you’re understanding—I really need a reference.  I need you to have someone who you already worked with tell me that you’re honest.  It doesn’t have to be another attorney, it can be another person from the US, or another person who lost a family member, or anyone.  I need them to tell me that you are honest.

You telling me that your friend Alex is trustworthy…not a reference.  I also believe that all my friends are trustworthy, but I haven’t given them my personal money so that they can get documentation to secure a personal fortune from a dead Uncle.

A person who actually had Mr. Alex work with them on getting funds from a dead relative…that’s a reference.  

I don’t know how else to explain it.  Maybe there weren't references in 2010, where you seem to be living.

Yes, my friend showed it to me on her computer, and all of the second page is in Spanish, and says it’s a Mexican passport, but then page one says United Kingdom.  Those two countries are really far apart, and don’t have the same national language.  That’s why I was concerned.
